Hamas, Islamic Jihad hit Israeli targets
Thu, Oct 28, 2004
Source UPI

GAZA -- Palestinian militant groups Hamas and Islamic Jihad said Wednesday they fired rockets at an Israeli settlement and a port near Gaza.

Al-Quds Brigades, the military wing of Islamic Jihad, claimed responsibility for firing Qassam rockets at the port of al-Majdal, north of Gaza.

Hamas' military wing, Qassam Brigades, said it shelled the Israeli settlement of Sederot in a pre-dawn attack.

There were no immediate reports of casualties in both attacks which the two groups said were in retaliation to Israel's attacks against the Palestinian people.
