GE said it wants to do more business with China, one of its largest overseas markets. A booming economy, Olympics 2008 and World Expo 2010 are expected to create many business opportunities, Xinhua, China's main government-run news agency, reported Sunday.
GE will provide quality products in security, water processing, automation, and infrastructure construction in China. It will also work to seek local business partners in these fields.
"Our company is dedicated to bringing advanced technologies, quality services and excellent partners to China, where we see great business opportunities," said Steve Schneider, Chairman and CEO of General Electric (China) Co. Ltd.
